Location data can be personal and commercially valuable. The product is designed around a simple rule: your private scouting library should remain under your control.

What the vault stores
Location Vault stores the places you save, including coordinates, titles, categories, field notes, tags, and any image references you add. It also stores the minimum account identifier required to keep your vault separate from every other creator account.
Google account access
Google sign-in is provided through our authentication partner. Location Vault receives the basic profile details needed to identify your account; it does not receive your Google password or access to your Gmail, Drive, contacts, or calendar.
Private by default
A saved location belongs to the account that created it. It is not published to other creators unless you deliberately use a sharing feature. You should still avoid storing access codes, private residential details, or sensitive personal information in notes.
Location permissions
If you use the locate-me control, your browser asks for permission first. That reading is used to position the map. Location Vault does not continuously track you in the background.
Control and deletion
You can edit or delete individual locations from your vault at any time. Account-level data deletion is handled by the app operator when requested; this release does not pretend that signing out is the same as deleting your data.
A practical release note
This is the first public release. Before using Location Vault for client-confidential information, confirm the final production domain and operator contact shown by the person who shared the app with you.
